Identifying The Unknown Bacteria-Week 2
This blog post is a continuation of the unknown bacteria S007M from week 1. After coming back over the weekend, my tests finished settling, and I’ve identified the unknown. The Oxidase test came back positive which lead me on the path to do the Glucose, SIM, and Gelatin. The Glucose test came back positive for acid. Then I was to do the SIM test which came back positive for motility, then I was to do the Gelatin test which came back positive for hydrolysis. Which has now lead me to be able to identify S007M, I have concluded it to be Serratia Marcescens.
